WHAT IS?

EUREGNEWS is a European network of regional newspapers. Partnership and Cooperation is the initial idea.

WHAT DO WE DO?

EUREGNEWS operates in three main areas, namely:

   -Journalistic – Involves newsrooms and their journalists collaborating on common issues, European content, or joint research projects. It enables each editorial staff to act as a correspondent for bidirectional matters.

   -Business– entails the dissemination of European actions and programs through the press and the organization of joint competitions with all interested parties.

   -ASSOCIATIVE – Serving as a privileged partner of the European Union on matters that connect the sector, including specific issues such as freedom of information and journalists, as well as labor legislation in general. Performing lobbying functions

WHO CAN BE A MEMBER?

All newspapers that are not national in scope but are primarily based in a specific region are eligible. Initially, partners who join will be considered founding members. To avoid potential conflicts, only one candidate per region will be accepted. Each new member must be proposed and accepted by the longest-standing member in their country.

WHEN WILL IT BE OFFICIAL?

As soon as possible, as there are applications for European programs already in progress, for which can be done together.
